True Leader

“In the popular image, a problem-solving leader is a solitary genius…

but the true leader prefers to produce a success” – Gerald M Weinberg

In my experience they are the quiet ones. They tend to speak less and listen more.

False leaders win arguments, whereas a true leader wins.

It isn’t that they are shy of challenging conversation because when they speak, everybody listens. I’m always amazed at how they artfully help people navigate challenging situations and find win-win solutions through disagreements.

They might get mistaken for introverts. But I like working with them.
