Understanding Work at the Team Level
When work becomes visible, patterns begin to emerge in how teams collaborate and deliver.
Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM)
CONTEXT
In many organizations, work is organized into teams with clear roles, ceremonies, and expectations.
Processes are defined. Responsibilities are assigned. Tools are in place.
Yet, teams often experience a different reality.
Work moves unevenly. Collaboration depends on individuals rather than the system. Meetings happen, but clarity does not always follow.
What appears as a need for better execution is often a signal that the system of work is not yet fully visible to the team.
This work often connects to broader system challenges that extend beyond a single team.
- Coordinating work across teams
- Managing dependencies across functions
- Maintaining flow as more teams become involved

WHAT BECOMES VISIBLE
- How work actually flows through a team—not just how it is planned
- Where collaboration depends on individuals rather than shared understanding
- Why meetings occur without improving clarity
- How roles are defined, but responsibilities remain unclear in practice
- Where interruptions and dependencies disrupt team flow
WHAT BEGINS TO SHIFT
- Work moves from tasks → visible flow
- Collaboration moves from coordination → shared ownership
- Meetings move from routine → purposeful interaction
- Roles move from definition → responsibility in practice
- Teams move from activity → meaningful outcomes
HOW THIS WORK HAPPENS
This work takes place in a cohort-based learning environment where participants engage directly with how their teams operate in practice.
Through interactive exploration, participants examine how work flows, how collaboration happens, and where breakdowns occur.
The experience creates space to connect Scrum concepts to real-world team dynamics—making the system of work more visible and actionable.
CERTIFICATION
This course is delivered as part of the Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM) program through Scrum Alliance.
Certification is included, but the focus is on developing an understanding of how teams work—beyond roles, ceremonies, and practices.

Dhaval's 2 day CSM course was a fantastic learning experience. His passion for Agile concepts was evident in his teaching. The session incorporated an excellent hands-on approach to learn all about scrum methodology. I would strongly recommend his training course for anyone who is interested in learning how to apply Agile concepts in the real world.
